As a seasoned Software Tester, I excel in fast-paced testing environments and have a proven track record of reviewing software at every stage of development and production. I bring a wealth of knowledge in API testing, Agile software development methodologies, legacy system testing, web and mobile testing, and more to the table. Driven by a passion for quality, I am committed to delivering the best possible applications.

In my current role at OUTsurance, I have earned a reputation as the "go-to guy" for system knowledge and testing practices. I have been instrumental in developing a structured onboarding and review process, coaching new testers until they are able to work independently. I am often sought after for my testing expertise and advice, and have successfully led testing efforts for OUTsurance's digital client-facing team, including the client portals (app and web), public website, and investment robo-advisor in OUTvest.

I am a versatile tester, able to adapt to different teams and improve testing strategies and efforts. My goal is to continue delivering high-quality software and driving positive results for my team and company.

During my tenure at OUTsurance, I was nominated for the prestigious departmental recognition award, the "IT DEV Superstar," in acknowledgment of my exceptional performance and dedication. I am honored to have received this award twice, reflecting my consistent excellence and competence in delivering high-quality work.

Upon joining OUTsurance as a software tester, I was recognized early on for my leadership potential and was among the first testers considered for promotion to the role of team manager. In my current position, I have successfully spearheaded the establishment of our test automation efforts, including the development and implementation of a robust test automation strategy and its supporting processes.

In addition, I introduced and implemented a formal review process within our manual testing framework, known as "test plan reviews." This initiative improved the quality and accuracy of testing by ensuring that all test plans undergo thorough peer evaluations, resulting in more structured and reliable testing outcomes.
