  • ASSET MANAGEMENT Monitor and review the capturing of all physical (movable and immovable) assets in the physical management registers. Monitor and review the allocation of assets to asset holders & ensure appointment of asset holders. Determination of asset allocation/classification according transport, furniture, other machinery & equipment and biological assets policy and procedures of the department. Approval of moveable asset, asset maintenance on asset register updates. Monitoring the performance of assets verification per prescribed time i.e. monthly and annual asset verification. Compile reports on state assets, promote correct implementation of sound asset management practises by informing guiding and advise departmental employees. Monitoring and approval of disposal of unserviceable, obsolete and unserviceable state asset. Monitoring of ledger adjustments on immovable asset evaluation and biological assets price adjustments.
  • INVENTORY AND CONSUMABLE Monitoring of balance score cards (BSC), surpluses in the stores; Monitoring of commitments report and 0-9 files; Compile reports on annual stock taking and keep reports on face value items. Authorised capturing and issuing of requisitions and issue vouchers. Ensure all the warehousman and transit are appointed in writing. Implement AGSA recommendations and ensure proper management practises to prevent audit queries.
  • PROCUREMENT & POSTINGS Assist in the compilation of bids documents and opening of tender box; Assist in the evaluation of bids documents in the evaluation committee and make recommendations for adjudication committee; Sit on price negotiations of bids evaluation; Pre-Authorisation and authorised payments on Portal; Monitoring of inter-store departmental transfers and Monitoring of Donations to/from the state.
