Writing, Poetry

I have been writing short stories since I can remember. Precisley since grade 5 when we were asked to share creative writing work on how our holidays were. My skills developed over time as I started to give myself some time to write and perfect my stories through my world view.

The poetry is a knack I picked up when I realised that I cannot always express my immediate feelings with a long story, but I could write and pour out my heart in mini stanzas and immediately that became a sweet pill to swallow as it made me feel good to write how I felt. It was a good feeling to see how emotions of all sorts could be expressed on paper. The best part was actually realising that I could use other peoples feelings as well to paint my page with words that were pulled from their emotions.

I love to write. It is something I could do in my sleep with little to no effort. The creativity still surprises me today even so many years later.
