Hobbies

My main hobby is Latin and Ballroom dancing which I compete on an international level. In 2016 I won three gold medals at a Fred Astaire competition, placing first in all my dances. In 2017 I was awarded the dancer of the year award and certificate (po10ial).

In 2018 I competed in my first international competition at Rumba in the Jungle, placing first in 5 dances. In 2018 I was awarded the most improved and hardworking student of the year (po10ial).

In 2019 I participated in the social/pro-am Gauteng Provincials, I placed second in this competition.

In 2019 I competed in the singles section for Rumba in the Jungle and placed first in my 2 dances. I also competed in the Latin section placing second in the competition.

I am currently dancing under Po10ial dance studio and help in teaching a few dance classes.

I attended a model and youth development programme at Tiffany K Models. In this programme I learnt how to create a successful career and life in developing certain skills such as confidence, social skills, life skills, communication, and self-belief through female empowerment.

I enjoy the outdoors, playing hockey in the backyard, reading and spending time with my animals and family.

I enjoy helping people where and when I can. Whether it is something tiny such as giving guidance on how to approach an assignment or just being there to listen to a person.

I have always enjoyed working with younger children as I find it encouraging to see them grow and develop and for them to become aware of their creativity.

I respect others and I am eager to learn.
