I am an experienced Foundational Phase teacher with several years experience. I have taught children from Grade 000 to Grade R on a multitude of subjects. I am currently in the position of Head of Phase. This position involves the use of leadership, organisational, communication and planning skills. It also includes assisting our Principal with Staff meetings, Assemblies and helping with any staff conflict. On top of these responsibilities, I am a Grade R teacher. My passion is to teach the young minds of tomorrow through critical thinking, problem solving and innovation. I have thoroughly enjoyed introducing new and fun ways to learn all the different concepts in Grade R. I am always looking for new ways to learn and grow as a teacher. I am a great team player and will be a wonderful, calm and creative addition to any school.

- Preparing a personalised documentation book for each child in the class. This includes photos of the individual child doing various activities, art and work. This is presented to the parents at the end of the year as a gift.
- Watching and Interacting with all the children in different areas during their ‘Outdoor free play’
- Toilet and Snack time supervision
- Preparing and teaching Literacy, Numeracy, Art and Life skills lessons
- Telling stories during ‘Story time’
- Setting up and planning for next day activities
- Emailing/Communicating with parents on a daily basis
- Organising Parent Interviews during Term 1 and Term 3.
