Tumelo Mahlong

I am a 21-year-old final-year student pursuing a degree in Financial Management Sciences at the University of Pretoria, with the ambition of becoming a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA). I am a strong hard-working individual who has a passion for finance. I have great time management skills which help me plan my tasks to meet deadlines, but I can also work well under pressure when unexpected tasks occur. I am a team member and enjoy working with different people from different backgrounds and have adaptability skills which help me to adjust to new situations and keep an open mind when facing challenges. I have strong analytical skills which help me to understand and solve complex problems.

Professionally, the opportunity to grow in my career and have a positive impact on the lives with the people that I work with motivates me, and personally, my family drives me, my parents both grew up in rural areas and have worked hard to build a better life for my siblings and me. I look up to my parents as they motivate me to build something better for me and my own family and to take care of them when they’re older like they took care of me.
