- Conducting sport checks on contractors that are doing work on site to ensure adherence to permit to work.
- Driving safety awareness culture for admin employees by ensuring that they conduct their Safety Observations.
- Review nature of TPW, classify them according to pre-defined loss tree and generate action plan to closed them.
- Liaising with Occupational Health Nurse for all decisions that may have adverse effect to employee’s health.
- Initiate and implement activities that will reduce waste generation from source.
- Reduce the site’s environmental impact in the areas of COD, hazardous & non-hazardous waste, CO2 emissions and water & energy consumption.
- Lead the Zero Waste to Landfill Program.
- Track water consumption and proposed savings project that will reduce consumption.
- Review lesson learnt from other sites and implement learnings and best practice.
- Stay up to date with SHE legal update to ensure that site is always in compliance and meets all relevant regulations.
- Review the SHE department spend and ensure it align with the budget.
- Ensure that monthly committee meetings are held as per plan.
