- Compile Debtor Revenue input in respect of Assessment Rates and the main services included in the Annual Medium-term Revenue and Expenditure Framework.
- Compile Direct Revenue input in respect of all other service tariffs to be included in the MTREF.
- Provision of information for annual NT reporting returns (Appendix A & B) input forms
- Tariff calculating and structuring (in collaboration with departments) taking tariff policies/by-laws and strategies into consideration.
- Advice / recommend on proposed tariff increases and structures.
- Assist with publication of the budget documentation.
- Monthly compilation of main services statistics to determine inter alia, consumption patterns and distribution losses for budgeting and performance purposes.
- Tariff and statistical analysis on a monthly basis.
- Assist with publication of the annual handbook on tariffs and statistics.
- Monthly monitoring of realization of revenue for comparison and calculation purposes and possible resultant implications in terms of the MFMA.
