The Senior Technician's role is to support, service and maintain all customer ICT equipment’s. This includes installing, configuring, diagnosing and repairing all customer hardware and software equipment while ensuring its optimal performance and oversees everything that has to do with workshop operations and functions.
Stripping and reassemble hardware peripherals.
Electronics repairs to components level.
Prioritise work schedule for repairs and allocate to technicians.
Liaise with technicians to ensure that repairs are completed within turnaround time.
Ensure quality of service is according to standards.
Complete data capturing on system for repairs.
Maintain daily & weekly records of logs and resolved repairs.
Delegate tasks and monitor staff & productivity.
Provide constructive feedback.
Ensure workshop process and procedure is adhered.
Admin and control of requisition, ordering of components & spares and sourcing spares from branches to complete repairs.
Log warranty calls, update external and warranty repairs on system.
Follow up with external suppliers and service providers.
Assist field technicians with basic troubleshooting, diagnostic procedure and technical support.
Present daily & weekly workshop stats on the daily branch triangle and weekly workshop forum meetings and oversee monthly and audit stock takes.
Maintain cleanliness and safely working environment according to standard.
Also assists with installation and configuration of network hardware and software.

Knowledge of PC and server operating systems including Windows 10, Windows 11, Windows Server 2016, Microsoft Active Directory.
Knowledge of MS Office, Cloud Infrastructure, database management, system management software, and development tools.
Understands principles of data communications including Ethernet, modem, VPN setup & installation and problem determination/resolution.
Ability to demonstrate skill in the use and repair of computer equipment and software.
Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
Proficiency in explaining technical material and developing effective working relationships with customers and co-workers.
Ability to make contacts with other departments and promote positive working relationships with individuals from other departments.
