Responsible for identifying and procuring stores goods and services that organization requires at best possible value.

• Processing purchase requisitions requests from different departments and processing purchase orders
• Make sure departments adhere to procurement policy procedures PPC.
• Expediting outstanding orders
• Maintain regular contact with key suppliers by calling and negotiating prices, for PPE, Maintenance spares, stores and admin office consumables and services required by organization.
• Undertake appropriate planning for suppliers’ delivery schedules to minimize stock holding cost and balanced stockholding (Availability vs. stock holding costs)
• Manage consignment stock, control suppliers to invoice when stock items have been utilised by production department
• Issuing materials as per Stores Requisition form to minimize stock discrepancies
• Ensure that necessary authorizations are in place prior to issuing stock.
• Evaluating quality supplied by suppliers when receiving
• Receive items returned to store and ensure adherence to return procedure as per system requirements
• Adhere to all SHEQ related requirements (Manage hazardous bins and manage septic tank suppliers)
• Monthly wall to wall stock counts.
• Monthly diesel recon and daily diesel consumption
• Assisting with Laezonia plant’s function when required (Issuing, Receipting, Purchase ordering
• Ensure warehouse space is utilized efficiently and mechanical handling equipment arranged for efficiently loading and storing.

Relieving when Materials Foreman is not available

• Setting goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with company's plans and vision.
• Organizing workflow and ensuring that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks.
• Monitoring employee productivity and providing constructive feedback and coaching.
• Completing daily shift reports

• Operating scada machine
• Performing daily pre-start inspection and preventative maintenance on daily basis

• Performing minor maintenance and checking the final product
