I am a 29-year-old SANBI GIS and remote sensing intern, graduated with honors degree at university of Fort Hare and in need of entry level job or more internship opportunities to expand my horizons. Currently I am based at Breede-Olifants catchment Management Agency (BOCMA) in Worcester as part of BOCMA- SANBI collaboration agreement. I am a hardworking, visionary, results oriented, honest, and dependable person. I do GIS mapping spatial analysis, research, data analysis and data collection (for both field and remotely). Amongst other things I do with BOCMA is validation and verification of license maps, Wetland monitoring and assessment, hydrological monitoring using GIS tools. WULA mapping and mapping of Alien invasive species and restructuring the attribute table in meaningful way based on their NBallds. I am currently working on the mapping the Water User Association (WUA) and Irrigation Board mapping. Amongst other things I am also doing River Management and Maintenance Plan (RMMP) mapping for SANBI, and I possess great computer skills.
