  • Reviewing raw material unit and outworker cost information provided by the Procurement Department.
  • Create BOMs based on the Bill of Materials received from the Design Department.
  • Update costings based on the Bill of Materials captured on JDE.
  • Update budget prices annually for all raw materials in the manufacturing branch plants; these are the standard prices we use for all costing.
  • Resolve costing inquiries from the Export Department, KAMS, and Marketing.
  • Reviewing and posting of manufacturing accounting journal entries on a daily basis.
  • Variance and sundry adjustment accounts are analyzed on a daily basis.
  • Efficiency analysis and reporting: tracking efficiencies for various departments for presentation to the various stakeholders in the business.
  • Submission of information requested by the Group Costing Manager for management account reports and packs for board meetings.
  • Oversee stock counts (full and cycle counts) for raw materials, work in progress, and finished goods.
  • Perform stock in production counts (full and cycle counts).
  • Daily analysis of stock status reports.
  • Recommend to the Group Costing Manager on cost reduction projects.
  • Continuous improvement of raw material reduction (internal/external at CMTs).
  • Responsible for the maintenance of master file data tables for manufacturing accounting and costings on JDE.
