I have been working in the public service for 17 years, where 2 of the 17 years I was conducting learners classes. I am a registered Traffic officer, Peace Officer and an authorized Examiner for driving licenses (Grade D) with an A and EC driving license, a Field Training Officer and also Centre Designated Firearm Officer within the Vredendal Provincial Traffic service. I completed training on TCS ANPR Monitoring System as an operator, and also achieved my degree In Bachelor for Policing Practices in December 2024. I have a sound knowledge of the National Road Traffic Act (NRTA93/96), National Land Traffic Act (NLTA 5/2009), National Road Traffic Regulations (NRTR 2000) and Criminal Procedure Act (CPA 51/77 . I am a highly methodical, amenable, and results orientated team player with a proven track recording in problem-solving. I enjoy to work with groups of people, to organize and participate in planning, implementation and the evaluation of programs and objectives, demonstrate respect for all individuals, and engage in professional development activities. Currently, I am working as Acting Principal Provincial Inspector and manage my subordinates for the successful execution of planned operations and fulfilled the position to the best of my ability without any enumeration. I enjoy working with groups of people, organizing and participating in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of programs and objectives, demonstrating respect for all individuals, and engaging in professional development activities. In the past 17 years in public service, I have learned to manage joint law enforcement activities, manage resources, and provide leadership and direction to all subordinates, manage performance and identify and manage risk. I also attend joint operational meetings with the different role players on an occasional basis and know how to utilize the electronic system and related daily functions, I think that I can contribute a lot and will be an asset to the department.
