Summary

I fancy myself as a motivational leader with the right attitude which helps in my work environment in which I am an Executive Head of Division. I have a group of 3 Managers reporting into my structure. I have a total staff compliment of 28. I am a firm believer of empowering people. I enjoy an open and honest relationship with my staff and colleagues and believe in and encourage a team spirit philosophy. Speed simplicity and trust are the pillars that I work within. As an Exec Head I am responsible for the Operations of Value Added Services to approx. 35 million users. Due to the maturity of this OpCo. I am required to provide high level assistance to our OpCos in Africa. I also host one of our OpCos (Vodacom Lesotho). I am always eager to keep myself motivated.

My strength is my technical experience coming from an Engineering background. This is a huge benefit in running my division. I am not in favour of micro-managing, however, I do enjoy a technical chat by always keeping my finger on the pulse. I keep abreast of technical evolutions and try apply them as best I can.

I am in full control of my life and have goals and know how to achieve them. I have, at all times, the interest of the Company at heart. I have a very positive personality and I believe that I will make a success of opportunities that I am faced with. I have made an impression on my previous work places and I am positive that I can repeat this performance wherever I go.

I have completed an Executive Leadership Program 2008. My Janus project was done in Vodafone India.

I am an avid Comrades Marathon supporter and enjoy running and gyming. Unfortunately I had to give up running due to “wear and tear” and the specialist puts it.
