Onboarding

  • Send a welcome email to new joiners and request their onboarding documents.
  • Request parking for new joiners for their 1st week of employment.
  • Log IT new-user forms for new joiners to get their equipment and desk ready.
  • Prepare welcome packs for new joiners.

Off-boarding

  • Log IT remove-user forms, for leavers to be removed from all company platforms on their last day.
  • Remove leavers from all benefits in a timeous manner.
  • Prepare off-boarding letters for leavers and send them their various benefit withdrawal certificates.
  • On leavers last day, make sure they hand in all company equipment and sign an exit declaration.

Benefits Administration

  • Add new joiners to our benefits on a monthly basis and in a timeous manner.

  • Edit job specs and put it on a M&G job template.
  • Send job spec to Marketing to post on career website.
  • Send vacancies to all staff.
  • Screen CV's based on line-manager requirements.
  • Conduct screening calls.
  • Co-ordinate interviews.
  • Conduct reference checks.
  • Request remuneration details from candidates.
  • Compile dummy payslips for potential candidates.
  • Schedule psychometric testing for candidates.
  • Ensure candidates receive a highly positive experience through the entire recruitment process.

Administration

  • Monitor our Human Capital mailbox and respond to queries or forward it to the relevant team member.
  • Create Microsoft Teams forms for various purposes.
  • Capture monthly learning and development spend of the business.
  • Compile employment letters for staff.
  • Administer the Employee Self Service System (i.e. leave administration and reporting lines).
  • Assist in the maintenance of HR databases.
  • Ensure that all filing related to people practices is maintained.
  • Coordinate training by liaising with vendors.
