• Oversee daily operations and ensure safety compliance to maintain the success of the mine.
• Manage team dynamics and coordinate shift performances for the mine through resourcing.
• Conduct safety emergency drills stipulated unnder MHSA Reg. 16 and equipment checks.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and risk assessments are conducted in alignment with MHSA 11.5 requirements.
• Provide on-the-job coaching and HRD training schedules are done in alignment with the mine's requisitions.
• Maintain a safe working environment and empower employees to stop work if safety has been endangered in accordance with MHSA 22 & 23.

Mine Overseer:

• Direct underground mining operations and ensure safety compliance for the benefit of the Mine.
• Control the health and safety operation and running of machinery and equipment.
• Ensure optimal mineral on reef tonnage output while maintaining high safety standards for the mine.
• Conduct routine inspections and risk assessments in liaison with the Mine Health and safety Act.
• Careful maintenance to these KPI's as its essential for maintaining high standards of health, safety and productivity on the tonnage out for the specific section of the mine.
