• Coordinate TB activities in the hospital, collaborating with hospital management, information officers, and data capturers.
• Supervise TB data entry and manage human capital.
• Support in-hospital TB and HIV care, including infection prevention and control.
• Promote treatment for latent TB infection (LTBI) in eligible patients.
• Map feeder clinics and maintain a database.
• Participate in district quarterly TB and data review meetings.
• Compile quarterly reports for the SR program manager and the district TB/HAST manager.
• Provide and coordinate TB-specific training through coaching and mentoring based on identified needs.
• Assist with supportive supervision of all direct subordinates and indirect staff of collaborating organizations

• Nimart, DS-TB and RR-TB trained professional nurse by Western Cape DOH- conduct client consultation for both TB and HIV/AIDS providing treatment start and doing follow-up consultations.
• Recruiting patients for PrEP, and initiating them on this HIV/AIDS prevention pill.
• Collecting sputum from TB presumptive.
• Managing sexually transmitted infections.
• Doing referrals to other multidisciplinary team for further patient care needs
• Giving health education to patients and proper management in cases of treatment side effects
• Working with TB DR for patients' needs.
• Following up on patients missing their appointment dates.
• Conducting DOTS
• Triaging all HIV-positive clients.
• Collecting blood specimens.
• Treating opportunistic infections related HIV/AIDS
• Conducting proper tb screening
• Performing papsmear to women that are HIV positive
• Doing referrals to appropriate MDT members
• Seeing all patients needs are met
• Giving adherence and compliance support to patient, Community service as professional nurse
• conduct pre and post counseling for HIV testing.

• Suturing of open wounds, evaluation of burn wounds, and applying dressings accordingly.

• Ordering of medication and stock to ensure
that the unit runs smoothly.
• Make arrangements for transfers with
ambulance services.
• Schedule 6, 5 drugs, and handling of drug
keys.
• Draw blood specimens from patients for
further investigation.
• Consult INR patients and perform rapid INR
tests.
• Collecting urine samples.
• Perform electrocardiograms on patients.
• Administration of intramuscular medication.
• Keep a record of statistical information.
Assess wounds and apply dressings according
to assessments, or as prescribed.
• Monitor the progress of wounds by
documenting correctly.
• Keeping statistical records.
• Issue follow-up date.
Consult medical officers if a wound is not
improving, to screen for the underlying cause.

• Supervising a group of community healthcare workers and counselors.
• Plan outreaches (family planning, wellness days, COVID-19 screening, child health).
• Conduct household visits, ensuring that those in need of healthcare but unable to access it receive it.
• Collect statistics from the community, and submit monthly with timesheets of the employees.
• Reporting monthly stats to DOH, daily staff meetings with the team, planning staff annual leaves and authorising all kinds of leaves, attending staff meetings, daily signing off staff list in the workplace, making discussions around how to reach targets, daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly stats compiling, and following up on defaulted clients.
