Experience
I have been involved in plant operation for the past 10 years, and have experience in chrome and PGM processing, treating both ROM and chrome tailings. Throughout my service I have been involved in commissioning, feasibility test work, metallurgical projects and was recently put on a programme for a year to gain experience as a metallurgist. My daily responsibilities include overseeing the entire process from liaising with feeding plants to ensuring smooth operation of the fine chrome recovery to PGM processing up until final tailings filtration stage. my operational experience entails working with cyclones, crushers and mills, magnetic separation, spiral concetrators, dense medium separation circuits, filtration, tailings disposal, column flotation, thickening and vibratory screens.
