- Interpret MPS requirements and translate it into scheduled targets (monthly, weekly, daily) for each production/assembly area
- Monitor SAP planned orders, Kanban triggers, production buffers, material and capacity availability and plan the release of work orders
- Draw up monthly, weekly and daily targets for each production/assembly area, monitor progress, adjust targets and expedite critical activities to ensure MPS achievement; Create work orders as schedules in SAP, compile, build history files, track progress and booking of hours, minimize material variances and complete and close work orders; Responsible for control and administration of quarantine store
- Also responsible to create rework orders as required and to expedite the replacement on non-conforming material from stores; Reporting on production targets to achieve the MPS, the status of target achievement, material shortages, labour and material variances and production order status and progress
- Liaises primarily with production foremen, project managers, material planners and QA/QC personnel.
