  • As one of six Trustees of the National Social Security Authority Staff Pension Fund, I played a key role in overseeing the management of a multi-million dollar portfolio and ensuring financial security of over 1500 members.
  • Working in close collaboration with my fellow trustees, I helped to manage investment of funds in accordance with the Investment Policy Statement, ensuring that the fund achieved its set targets and remained in compliance with all relevant statutory requirements and the Trust Deed.
  • Together with my fellow trustees, I was responsible for ensuring timely receipt of contributions, facilitating payment and transfer of benefits, and safekeeping valuable documents and securities. We also worked together to prepare and audit financial statements, as well as facilitate statutory valuation of the fund every three years.
  • To make informed decisions, we worked closely with experts such as lawyers, actuaries, stockbrokers, and property valuers, delegating authority and playing to each other's strengths. Our combined efforts resulted in the efficient and effective operation of the fund, allowing us to secure retirement futures of the fund beneficiaries.
