Troubleshooting: to identify the root cause. Mechnical and electrical faults on diesel engine generator controllers with experience on Gensmart, Deep sea and Lovato.
Fault finding on Automatic Voltage Regulators(AVR) and Electrical components

Overhead Cranes(16ton),compressors, welding machines,

hydraulic& pneumaticsystems, PLC, Laser cutting, flame

cutting, Bendinding, Chamfering, milling machines, fork lifts and

all general equipment on site and of site.

• Install and maintain renewable energy source(solar)
• Training and assessing apprentices and assistants.
• Repairs of production machinery as well as site related electrical work e.g. lighting, boilers, compressors, installations etc.;
• Methodical fault finding and maintenance of electrical motors, control panels and distribution boards;
• Excellent working knowledge of GEA high speed wrapping and bagging machines, sensor control, VSD, HMI, switch gear, AC motors, servo motors, relay logic, industrial instrumentation, basic understanding of PLC;
• Assisting with installation of new equipment
• Ensuring that related administration is attended to timeously
• Ensuring that operational services (electrical) are provided timeously and according to specification.
• Assist with mechanical inspections/repairs.
• Supervise all work done by junior electrical aid.
• Coach and train the junior electrical assistants.
• Perform routine inspection and maintenance on all related equipment on the plant.
• Generator installations and maintenance
• Perform Generator change over when there is power failures.
• Replacement of heating Elements, Thermocouple, Temperature controllers, Liquid level sensors, proximity sensors.
• Also Fitter duties as a fitter mechanic:
• Bearing replacement on all rotating machinery.
• Parts replacement.
• Carry out scheduled maintenance on all equipment.
• Install new components or modify existing applications

• Monitor Cooling tunnels temperature and humidity controller settings.
• Ensure all scales in the plant are working and calibrated.
• Also Fitter duties as a semi-skilled fitter mechanic:
• Bearing replacement on all rotating machinery.
• Parts replacement.
• Carry out scheduled maintenance on all equipment.
• Install new components or modify existing ones to ensure efficient operation.
