Beyond the typical responsibilities of a senior role, the following duties have been added:
Business Analysis

- Assist the business in understanding existing rules and the potential impact of changes
- Help the Product Owner (PO) comprehend existing business rules to ensure accurate requirement definition

System Analysis and Optimization

- Analyze existing systems to identify performance issues

Technical Leadership and Support

- Provide system support and guidance to developers
- Assist with technical specifications
- Help Claims developers translate technical specifications into functional systems

Project Preparation and Knowledge Sharing

- Ensure technical requirements are understood for new projects before passing them to developers
- Document all Claims processes for developers' reference and learning purposes

System Analysis and Support

- Analyze existing systems to evaluate user requirements
- Perform system support and maintenance tasks

Development and Implementation

- Add new screens/reports or modify existing modules as requested by users
- Assist with technical specifications
- Deliver technical design solutions according to agreed standards and business requirements

Collaboration and Communication

- Meet with PO/Stakeholders/Business managers to discuss new requirements
- Participate in daily stand-up meetings to ensure deadlines are met

Testing and Quality Assurance

- Compile a test pack to resolve issues
- Identify and resolve defects during testing (Unit, Regression, and UAT)

Mentorship and Knowledge Sharing

- Assist Junior developers in translating technical specifications into functioning systems

Additional Responsibilities

- Manage daily ad hoc requests
- Provide after-hours support for MiHelp (24-hour emergency team)

Documentation

- Create user manuals for all systems

System Support and Maintenance

- Perform system support and maintenance tasks
- Manage daily ad hoc requests
- Respond to client requests for system support tasks

System Analysis and Development

- Analyze existing systems to evaluate user requirements
- Add new screens or reports or modify existing modules as requested

Collaboration and Communication

- Liaise with users/clients to discuss UAT testing progress

System Support

- Respond to daily ad hoc requests for reports via email or telephone
- Perform system support tasks as requested by clients

System Analysis

- Analyze existing systems to evaluate user requirements

Technical Design

- Assist with technical specifications
- Document technical design specifications using DFD's or ERD
- Deliver technical design solutions according to agreed standards and business requirements

System Development

- Construct system code in line with technical specifications
- Deliver code within agreed timeframe as per project plan

Testing and Quality Assurance

- Identify defects during testing (Functional, System, Integration, & UAT)
- Collaborate with clients to discuss test results and identify root causes

Knowledge Sharing and Training

- Conduct training with users on new changes implemented
- Assist Junior developers in translating technical specifications into functioning systems

• Database Development
  
  - Create new tables, indexes, views, and packages as required for development
  
  Debugging and Troubleshooting
  
  - Debug the system to identify defects
  - Document all identified defects
  
  System Maintenance
  
  - Make changes to the front-end (Oracle forms) and back-end (PL/SQL) to address issues
  
  Testing and Quality Assurance
  
  - Compile a test pack to resolve issues
  - Identify and resolve defects during testing (Unit, Regression, and UAT)
  
  Technical Design and Delivery
  
  - Deliver technical design solutions according to agreed standards
  - Address business requirements within the agreed timeframe
