I was permanently hired as an au pair to a little girl.

During this time my responsibilities were:

• Stimulate her educationally in the afternoons when she arrives home
• Occasionally collect her from school
• Make food for her
• Take her on outings
• Bake with her
• Get her ready for bed
• Babysit every weekend
• House and pet sit for the family
• Shopping for the family
• Prepare any items needed for her school week e.g. pajama day, crazy hat day etc.
• Travel with the family when needed
• Host play dates
• Watch her during school holidays

I was asked to care for a sick child at home as she was pulled out of school temporarily due to her illness.

During this time my responsibilities were:

• Educationally stimulate her during the day
• Make her food
• Take her on outings
• Put her down for naps
• Change her nappies
• Occasionally house/pet sat for the family
• Cooking and baking for/with the little girl.
  My role ended due to the fact that she was returning to school in January 2024.

I was asked to care for a nonverbal autistic boy while his mother was on a trip in London.

During this time my responsibilities were:

• Wake him up in the mornings
• Administer his medications
• Get him ready for the day
• Play with him during the day
• Provide food for him
• Assist his therapists when they visit.
• Make him dinner
• Administer his nightly medications
• Put him to bed.
• Shop for the family
• Drive the family around when needed.

I worked for the Catterson family for a little while until I was needed in Pretoria for Mrs. Silvana.

During this time my responsibilities were:

• Collected kiddies from school
• Helped with homework, projects and any other school related activities.
• Occasionally took kiddies to extra murals
• House/pet sat.

I worked for the Van Rooyen's for a few years, during that time my responsibilities were:

• Taking the three children to school
• Collecting them from school
• Take them to extra murals
• I did shopping for the family
• I cooked dinner for the kids
• Cleaned up after them
• House and pet sat for them
• I tutored the eldest every day (HDHD, Dyslexia) and in the evenings I would bath them and put them to bed.
  
  I was later promoted and started doing extra duties for the family such as:
• Taking the children on outings
• Sleeping over at the house to care for the children
• Doing extra exam and test prep over weekends

I was a tutor to an 8-year-old girl over the weekends, my responsibilities were:

• Creating mock exams/tests to prepare her
• Helping with homework
• Revising work she had done at school

I was later asked to tutor her and 2 of her friends which turned into a mini class where we did mock exams, revised work and did homework as well as projects for school.

While working for the Van Rooyen's and Mrs. Jen I was asked to tepm for the Bharti Family while they look for a permeant au pair.

Some of my responsibilities included:

• Taking the girls to school and then to extra murals if needed.
  Taking them home and doing homework,
  school activities and exam prep.
• Weekends I would take the girls to their horse riding lessons
• During the school holidays I would do
  fun educational activities with the girls to keep their minds
  active while not at school.
• The youngest girl had cerebral palsy
  so I would assist her in getting to class and take her upstairs if needed, I would also take her to her PT/OT sessions every week.

I was temporarily hired by a family to assist their child who suffered with cerebral palsy whilst they were in search for a permeant placement, my responsibilities were:

• Take the child to school
• Stay at school with the child and assist in his daily tasks as he could not do so for himself.
• Change his nappies
• Feed him
• Take him to his therapy sessions
• Take him home
• Make dinner for him.
• Care for him and his brother until his parents arrive

During this time, I was temporarily hired to assist in online schoolwork due to the Covid pandemic.

My responsibilities included:

• Assisting with online class and doing homework afterwards.
• Providing lunch and sometimes dinner.
• Preparing both children for bedtime.

My responsibilities included:

• Collect the children from school
  
• I made them lunch after school
  
• I bathed them and got them into pj's for bedtime.
  
• House sat and fed the animals when the family went on vacation.
  
• Play educational games with them.
  
• I took them to extra activities after school Ei: music, soccer, netball.
  
• Did errands for the family.

• During Covid I was promoted to being their tutor as well as an au pair. I would arrive at 7am to do online schoolwork with both the little girl and the little boy, I would then make them lunch, allow them to ride bicycles outside and give them a break from their schoolwork.

During this period of time I was an Au Pair to a 12 Year old Boy.

Some of my responsibilities included:

• Fetching him from school as well as taking him to various sports activities like his cricket games or practices.
• I made sure that his homework was done and I studied with him everyday making sure he had enough exam prep for his next test/Exam.
• I prepared meals for him twice a day for school and when he came home from school.
• I would help with dinner and do a few errands for the family such as house sitting, shopping for the monthly groceries etc.
