Summary
I am a qualified Motor Mechanic who has always been passionate about the automotive industry. This lead to my career choice, starting as an apprentice for Toyota. I then moved to Watchtower where I continued as an apprentice until qualifying. I was then promoted to Workshop foreman where, as an experienced Mechanic I took the lead in all diagnostics and fault finding within the workshop. I was able to run an efficient workshop with a high standard of workmanship. I was then also tasked as Fleet Maintenance Manager for SA and neighboring countries where I took the lead in fleet maintenance, managing over 200 vehicles. As an experienced driver of both trucks and vehicles, combined with extensive experience in the automotive sector, I was able to train new drivers and technicians to point were they to have become well qualified in their respective fields. My expertise in vehicle systems, combined with exceptional organizational skills, led to strategic vehicle replacements and cost-effective maintenance solutions.
