- I have completed my Community Service year within the Family Medicine department at Kalafong Hospital.
- During my time, I was allowed to have short rotations through Orthopaedic Surgery and the Emergency Department, while completing all overtime within the Emergency Department, managing acutely ill patients in the following disciplines: Medical, Surgical, Trauma, Paediatrics, Gynaecology, Obstetrics, and Psychiatric.
- My rotation through the Orthopaedic Surgery Department was fundamental in further developing surgical techniques, learning to run a proper theatre list, engaging with theatre staff, and managing surgical patients peri-operatively.
