Herman Mabotja is a University of the Witwatersrand graduate with BSc (Material Sciences and Physics), BSc hons (Geophysics) and currently a master’s candidate in Geophysics. My research is based on imaging structures capable of hosting the M5.5 2014 Orkney earthquake using reflection seismic data. I continued to do research on mapping the limbs of the Bushveld Complex using the surface waves data and satellite gravity data. I am a former Physical Sciences and Mathematics teacher for about six months (in 2020) at Limpopo Maths and Science Academy (LiMSA).During my time at LiMSA, I acquired good communication and articulation skills in teaching and demonstration, also helped with administration work where I drafted time tables, compiled reports, designed flyers for the company and assisted matrics with university applications. The NPP Analyst position will provide intense skills and expand my knowledge in the science behind the nuclear power plants. He agrees for security screening and medical assessment.
