  • Manage the training and development needs of members of the component in relation to the Skills Development Levies Act 90 of 1999 as amended.
  • Manage the Administration of Courses and Workshops in accordance with Training Provisioning plan and National Education and Development guidelines 11/1/3/1 dated 2010-07-20.
  • Compile nominations for Courses / Workshops and ensure that member in attendance in line with the Education, Training and Development Policy & Skills Development Act, of 1996.
  • Administrate the On-the-Job training for members to provide them with workplace learning skills to improve development in accordance with Workplace Skills Policy.
  • Compile Data base for Training Needs of Priority Courses to be presented in accordance with Workplace Skills Policy.
  • Administrate Bursary Applications as per instruction of the Allocation of Bursary funds allocated by National Commissioner.
  • Coordinate and administrate K53 and Abet projects and adhere to instruction of the Callup in terms of the National Instruction 4 of 2011, chapter 6.
