Teaching Philosophy
I imagine that an inclusive, well-structured and engaging learner centered environment will accomplish in supporting learners holistically. I recognise as an Intermediate Phase teacher that this period is critical in developing learners' independence, analytical thinking skills and a solid academic foundation. My teaching approach aims to making learning relevant and engaging, encourage active participation and profound understanding through practical hands on activates which are aligned with the CAPS curriculum. I use an assortment of teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities such as group work, discussion, problem-solving, and practical activities. I believe the classroom must be a place of mutual respect and well-defined objectives and dependable patterns build safe and motivated classroom environment. I recognise the importance and am committed to continuous professional development, by reflective practice and collaboration with parents and colleagues to better informs my teaching. The use of constructive feedback and formative assessment to examine learner progress allow me to provide support and address learning barriers efficiently.
