  • Oversee the online order management process, to ensure that all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Monitor incoming orders through various online platforms and ensure that they are processed in a timely manner.

Demand Planner

  • As a demand planner for iStore supply chain my role included the below:
  • Customise to order (CTO)- The management of the customise /configure to order process, this process enabled customers to personalise their Apple devices
  • This process entailed, sending out quotes and placing orders
  • MTN - My other responsibilities included the daily buying of stock allocations for the MTN network, this included iPhones, Sim cards and Routers
  • I was also tasked with the daily reporting and ordering for the MTN network for iStore
  • Waitlist management-My role in waitlist management was to allocate NPI stock to waitlist customers and reduce the waitlist count across all lines of business
  • IStore Africa and Mass retail-Apart from my role as a planner, I was tasked with daily stock transfers for iStore Africa, iStore education and the online store
  • Recalls and open box reshuffles of stock to best selling stores
  • Demo devices and planograms-I also upheld the position of ordering all demo or planogram stock for all NPI launches, store upgrades and new store openings
  • Developing relationships with stores, the warehouse, core buyers and customers

  • As a demand planner for the general merchandise division, my role included the demand planning of several categories that including stationery, toys, home ware, cleaning, baby, and linen
  • I was tasked with the below responsibilities for my respective categories:
  • Analyse daily roster ordering for vendors
  • Ensuring stock availability in the DC and help mitigate any supply chain gaps through demand adjustments
  • Conducting a root cause analysis for respective categories, looking at supply chain problems and possible solutions
  • Checks stock levels during promotions ensuring that there is ample stock in the DC for push replenishment to stores
  • Examine the movement of stock to spot trends, make deductions and generate solution
  • Communicates vendor issues to higher level management, monitors strike rates and other vendor related issues
