In my time at Chevron/Astron Energy I’ve trained, shadowed and worked in a number of disciplines which includes shutdown coordination, reactor inspections[HOTT-Hydro-processing Operations Taskforce Team], lines and fittings[preparation work, so that workers can work safely]. During September 2015 I was sent to our Pascagoula Refinery for further HOTT training[Reactor TurnAround].
I’ve trained up and coached many new employees, in-service trainees and students as well as colleagues from other disciplines at the refinery. Completed Low Pressure Console[Fuel/Gas, Diesel Units and Visbreaker Unit] at the beginning of 2016, I’m currently the Low Pressure Console Operator on my shift of which I supervise 3 people and all the workings on the Platformer[Reformer], Isomerization and the Naphtha Hydrotreater for the duration of a 12 hour shift, making sure that products are on specification with requesting of regular samples.
This also includes dealing with troubleshooting and liaising with the rest of the refinery, and problem-solving.
I’ve also been involved in Process Hazard Assessments and Analysis and audits pertaining Hydro Treating Units. I believe in team work which should be the core of any big organization or business.
I am a dynamic and self-motivated individual that always strives to work at full potential. I never back down from a challenge and am extremely competitive. I am able to work well under pressure and am exceptionally eager to work. My interpersonal skills as well as my ability to learn are remarkable.
I strongly believe that my skills and pro-active personality will be a befitting attribute to any job at hand. My enthusiastic approach to new situations will also be an advantage.
I’m currently in a STL [Supervisor Team Lead] position for nearly 4-5 years [from 2018 July]. This gave me the opportunity to grow even more within the company. I’ve also take-part in developing learner/training material guides/procedure reviews and updates between 2021-2022 working with EcoScience, KBR and KBS. I also acted as an OPS Specialist for 5 months, late 2022 into early 2023 aiding and leading the Refinery Re-Start Project.
Thank you for viewing my particulars and if I am considered as a possible candidate, then I would be pleased to attend an interview at your convenience.
