Working on a full commuted overtime basis in Emergency Medicine, mostly as part of a shift system.

I received special training in the South African Triage Scale (SATS) system and practical implementation thereof within my working environment.

Leadership and guidance of team members during major resuscitative efforts.

Referral of patients to appropriate facility of care when indicated.

Admission of patients to medical/surgical wards as indicated and establishing initial management protocols. Formulation of appropriate outpatient management plans for those not warranting inpatient care.
