I have over 30 years of experience in the financial services sector specialising in Treasury Sales; trading; operations (payments; settlements; reconciliations and confirmations); risk compliance and governance. I have management experience, ranging from junior to senior team members, the biggest team consisted of 17 members. I gained hands on experience through internal and external training and courses, and I fully appreciate the results obtained from a motivated, same focused team. Highlights of my career was starting divisions from scratch, employment, process re-engineering, procedures and process documentation, user acceptance testing and implementation. Working with various divisions that contributions are absolutely to the success of projects helped me gain insight to the big picture and necessity of functions such as compliance; information technology; risk; sales and management. Not only am I able to manage teams of individuals to achieve results and targets, I am also fully skilled in trading foreign exchange; money market; derivatives and crypto currencies/assets. With local and international payment stream knowledge I can ensure seamless confirmation and settlement of local and cross border payments for and on behalf of corporations and individuals. Apart from understanding a business’s financial goals, culture and ethics, I have a full appreciation for the various skills and contributions a sales force brings to a business. I have had multiple interactions with clients and external stakeholders/partners at the various institutions I represented including the two business I have started towards the latter part of my career. My personal interests stretch from travelling to golf to financial markets, artificial intelligence, crypto markets and all things technology. I am a good communicator and leader, I’m energetic, determined and focused.
