Served as reservist at Madadeni Police Station from August 1999 to January 2007, executing crime prevention and social crime prevention duties. Completed basic police training and served at Glencoe Police Station from July 2007 to March 2009. Transitioned to Public Order Policing Unit in Newcastle from April 2009 to May 2016, functioning as an operational member and information gatherer. Compiled operational and tactical plans for events during tenure at Public Order Policing Unit in 2013. Joined POP Reserve Unit in Pretoria on May 16, 2016, providing operational support until 2022 before moving to training office. Engaged in detached training duties at SAPS Academy Tshwane from 2017 to 2023, enhancing skills and knowledge in a training environment. Assigned to SAPS Academy Oudtshoorn in 2025, further developing expertise as a Trainer.. Detached duties significantly increased confidence and effectiveness as a trainer.
