Assmang Khumani Mine has been in business for over 12 years, stationed in the Northern Cape, a mining company, as well as
rendering services to local communities through Sustainable Development
At Khumani iron ore is mined from a series of open pits,
on the Bruce and King properties, by means of conventional drilling, blasting, and loading into trucks for hauling to each of the Bruce
and King primary and secondary crushing facilities
From there, it is transferred by means of overland conveyor and stockpiled onto
R.O.M blending beds, the material classified into two categories, on- (requiring no beneficiation) and off-(requiring further
beneficiation) grade material, ahead of the Beneficiation Plant situated on the farm Parson.
