Summary

I have an experience as a Legal Administration Intern for the Gauteng Department of Social Development, my duties were vetting of departmental policies, conducting law research and identifying recent developments on regulations affecting the department and also assist on compilation of monthly and quarterly reports for my manager.

I also worked as a contract Legal Administration Officer for the Gauteng Health Department's Legal Services where my duties were receiving letters of demand from the plaintiff’s attorneys, Investigating allegations and consulting with the relevant health care providers , Instructing Office of the state attorney on matters that needs intervention of the office of the state attorney, Briefing external counsel on matters that need such intervention ,Consultation with defence team and arranging pre-trial conferences ,Assist on compilation of monthly and quarterly reports for the department ,Drafting memorandums of payment for the department ,Drafting memorandum of concession of merits for matters settled out of court ,Conducting law research and identifying recent developments on regulations affecting the department.

My experience in the City of Johannesburg's municipality Legal Administration sector include having worked as a Legal Administration Intern and my duties were Attending Municipal Planning Tribunal Committee meetings, Data capturing, Processing of applications for Consent use and Rezoning of properties, Filing of Subdivision and Consolidation of Erven files, Collecting files from registration, Retrieving files from records department, Handling of engineering services appeal files, Liaise with internal and external stakeholders regarding information needed, Provide assistance to public queries and complaints and general office administration.

I am currently a Senior Secretary for the Integrated Service Delivery Department and my duties are to Manage and oversee general office administration, Consolidation of weekly work reports, Consolidation of Integrated Service Delivery monthly State of the Region reports, Diary management, Record incoming and outgoing correspondence, Filing, Keep and update records of all inventories, Liaise with internal and external stakeholders regarding information needed, Provide assistance to public queries and complaints, Communicate with the Deputy Director (daily) to report on all actions taken, and receiving visitors to the office and responding to their needs.
