  • Policy & procedures: Drafted 20 x HR policies and procedures that were approved the Board of Trustees. Presented a performance management and design template that was approved March 2024. Drafted the HR Handbook that was also approved.
  • Skills development: Introduced the current funding model that was adopted 2023; which in return let's all employees take up studies where the Trust pays ZAR 30 000.
  • Maternity & paternity leave: Maternity leave used to be unpaid, I requested from our Board of Trustees that maternity leave be paid at 80% monthly of employee on leave for four months. Recommended and got approval for paternity leave to be 10 days.
  • Employee benefits: I recommended and received approval for an Employee Risk Benefit Scheme (Momentum is our provider). Scheme entails: Death cover, critical and disability cover, and funeral cover. An EAP programme.
  • Remuneration (labour regulation): I was instrumental in us adopting pay parity and equal work/equal pay model. All our junior employees now earn above the pay threshold as mandated by the Minister of Employment and Labour.
  • Governance Human Resource and Remuneration Committee Member.
  • Deputy Information Officer (appointed by CEO, as part of PAIA regulations).
