Projects

1. PSO-Based Ventilation System Controller for Air Quality and Energy Optimization | Honours Engineering Research Project

  • Designed and implemented an intelligent embedded ventilation control system using Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) to optimize indoor air quality while minimizing energy consumption through real-time control of temperature, humidity, and CO₂.
  • Developed embedded firmware and hardware using Arduino, C/C++, Python, DHT22, CCS811, and MOSFET-based fan control, validating system performance through simulation and experimental testing.

2. AI-Enabled Smart Vital Signs Monitoring System | Final Year Engineering Design Project

  • Designed, developed, and integrated an intelligent IoT healthcare monitoring system combining embedded systems, wireless communication, mobile application development, and biomedical sensor interfacing for real-time patient monitoring.
  • Implemented secure Android-based patient management, AI-assisted anomaly detection, centralized data storage, and emergency alert functionality using Arduino Uno, ESP32, Java, C++, and Bluetooth/Wi-Fi technologies.

3. BGP-LS Network Topology Visualizer with LSP Overlay | Next Generation Networks Project

  • Developed a Python-based Software Defined Networking (SDN) application that parsed RESTCONF JSON data from an OpenDaylight controller to dynamically visualize BGP-LS network topologies and MPLS Label Switched Paths (LSPs).
  • Integrated Traffic Engineering (TE) metrics and built a modular visualization tool, validating functionality in a virtual networking environment using OpenDaylight, GNS3, VyOS, Ubuntu, NetworkX, and Flask.

4. Artificial Neural Network (ANN) Classification Model | Artificial Intelligence Project

  • Developed an end-to-end supervised machine learning pipeline, including data preprocessing, feature preparation, ANN model development, training, and evaluation using TensorFlow and Keras.
  • Applied hyperparameter optimization and performance evaluation techniques to improve model generalization and validate predictive accuracy on real-world datasets.
