1.Oversee the daily operation of the Project to ensure efficiency by leading, monitoring and guiding
team
2.Ensure strategy is aligned with the CATCH Vision and Mission
3.Supervise and guide staff to ensure team members develop their skills and perform their best
4.Foster team collaboration by resolving conflicts and maintaining a positive work environment
5.Oversee the Project’s budget by allocating resources efficiently and monitoring expenditure to
meet financial goals. Take responsibility for approving and submitting requisitions
6.Take responsibility for security and cleanliness of office and infrastructure
7.Submit financial and progress reports monthly to the Director
8.Perform HR practices as per the Employee Manual including granting leave, attending to
grievances and enforcing discipline
9. Take responsibility for recruitment of new staff and promotion of current staff as well as transfers
in or out of the department to other departments at CATCH
10.Conduct interviews when staff leave department or exit CATCH.
11.Take responsibility for mobilizing resources from financial donors or donors in kind
12.Ensure your own development by requesting necessary training in skills pertinent to your
employment eg fundraising, play therapy, child development
13. Pay close attention to stakeholders by nurturing partnerships with other NGOs, Community
leaders, SAPS, Clinics, Schools etc. Prime stakeholders are the beneficiaries/clients themselves.
14.Encourage good relationships between departments to build a common unity in purpose.
15.Perform any task as requested by the Director
