Worked on a project at Tete Valè Mining , open cast in Mozambique. Fabricated and erected piping, ducting, structural steelwork, installed main equipment ,fabricated and installed two boilers and one furnace and pumps, conveyors, coordinated the whole project inclusive of work packs, scaffolding, grit blast and painting and insulation, coordinated all crane and rigging requirements, commissioned refinery.

• Supervise staff and all contractors. Work closely with Planning to make sure all planned work is executed as per schedule. My role to Supervise Planned/Unplanned shut downs on boilers / scoping ,ordering of materials, preventative maintenance of boilers, eg, tube repairs economisers, main bank, steam and mud drum repairs, fabrication and installation of one new boiler, maintenance of waste heat boilers, construction and commissioning of utility steam generators as well as related components such as regenerative steam air heaters, coal mills and feeders, soot blowers, fans, dashers, high pressure and low pressure pipework, heat exchangers. Projects, including on the run work for maintenance core work. Removal and reinstating of pumps, gearboxes, valves, relief RV valves, piping and turbines and Tankage maintenance and the fabrication and erection of new tanks and all related piping, pumps, structural steel work .Static equipment including heat exchangers, columns, vessels, piping, fin fan banks, boilers and reactors. Supervisory/coordinating role during Turnaround making sure all work is carried out by M.M.C. and other disciplines and contractors. All PCR’s related to specific areas are scoped, supervised myself & executed by contractors. Supervise all contractors. Under my control there was a staff of 80 – 120 resources of different disciplines.
