I did a capstone project on a deep learning-based intrusion detection method that is robust against adversarial machine learning attacks.

I used the fast gradient sign method and projected gradient descent method as adversarial attacks.

The tools used were Python programming language for development, TensorFlow for creating Machine Learning Models, Keras, scikit-learn, and Adversarial Robustness Toolbox (ART). The dataset used is CICIDS2017.

The project produce an IT artifact that can detect adversarial examples in real time as an Intrusion Detection System using DNN and being robust against these attacks. The IT Artifact will produce better accuracy, and less false positives.
