• To interpret the Clients specification requirements (RFQ, Drawings & Specification) and produce a well-developed proposal, which conforms to the Clients requirements and offers the Company the best opportunity to deliver a quality product to the Client within the estimated cost/profit structure.

• Go out for Pricing to Subcontractors if Material is not free issue Prepare Take-Offs if required (piping Isometrics)

• Split BOQ’s by Extracting Sub Trades and Listing Sundry materials required.

• Complete the man-hour content on the Bill of Quantity items and the hourly rates base on the year of execution.

• Complete the P&G (Fixed, Time & Value Related) requirements. Prepare Tender Documents to be Submitted to Clients.

• Liaising with commercial and Risk analysis department. Submission of Tenders to client.

• Calculate and Populate hours according to company Norms into each items in BOQ

• Prepare BOQ for Task/Estimate and Capture BOQ to Programme Go out for Pricing to Subcontractors if Material is not free issue Prepare Take-Offs if required

• Prepare Tender Documents to be Submitted to Clients Attending Exco meeting to present Pricing

• Liaising with commercial and Risk analysis department Submission of Tenders to client.

• Split BOQ’s by Extracting Sub Trades and Listing Sundry materials required.

• Calculate and Populate hours according to company Norms into each items in BOQ

• Prepare BOQ for Task and Capture BOQ to Programme Acknowledge receipt of addenda and distribute to Estimators and other relevant departments (Procurement, Planning, Commercials etc.)

• Incorporate Addenda into BOQ as Required

• Items Priced by Estimators to be transported to Client’s BOQ in Excel

• Prepare Take-Offs if required

• Prepare Tender Documents to be Submitted to Clients

• Prepare take-off for Piping Isometrics

• Price material accordingly

• Prepare presentation to management of the pricing Prepare Tender

• Documents to be Submitted to Clients

• Preparation of BOQ by splitting the bills for Quotation (subcontractors) as per the Enquiry

• Issue of RFQ’s to relevant suppliers (BOQ and Data sheets included) and constant Communication with suppliers to ensure accurate pricing

• Accurate Adjudication of enquiry Documents received from suppliers and ensuring All items in the bill(s) have been priced if not further enquiries for prices to suppliers Are done

• Capturing of risk analysis based on the Technical and commercial aspects of the enquiry document as assessed by the senior Estimator (Cura)

• Assist in the Preparation of EXCO documents

• Compiling of Tender documents for Submissions for SMEIP which includes commercial documents, Safety documents, CV’s, Histograms, Certificates etc.

• Drawings take-offs for the preparation of BOQ’s for pricing
