• Order Fulfillment: Ensure accurate and timely order picking, packing, and dispatch to meet customer expectations and service-level agreements.
• Equipment Maintenance: Oversee maintenance and inspection schedules for warehouse machinery and equipment (e.g., scales, stationary).
• Shopkeeper: Open and close the warehouse insuring the safety of the product
• Vendor & Carrier Liaison: Communicate with suppliers, transport companies, and service providers to ensure smooth operations.
• Technology & Systems Oversight: Knowledge of using a warehouse system
• Returns Management: Handle returns, damaged goods, and reverse logistics procedures efficiently.
• Staff Scheduling: Plan work shifts and allocate tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, even during peak periods.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Customer Service & Sales Support: Assist customers in selecting the right tires based on vehicle type, driving habits, and budget. Upsell services such as wheel alignment, balancing, and tire rotation. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and service follow-ups to ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Team Supervision & Support: Support the Shop Manager in supervising technicians, fitters, and front-desk staff. Allocate daily tasks, monitor staff performance, and ensure work is completed efficiently. Provide on-the-job training and guidance to junior team members.
• Workshop Operations: Oversee day-to-day service operations, including tyre fitting, alignment, balancing, rotation, and puncture repairs. Ensure safety procedures and quality standards are followed in the workshop at all times.
• Inventory & Stock Control: Monitor stock levels of tires, spare parts, and consumables. Assist in ordering stock, receiving deliveries, and ensuring accurate stock records. Conduct regular stock checks, and coordinate with suppliers when needed.
• Service Scheduling & Workflow Management: Manage service appointments and walk-in customers efficiently to reduce wait times. Coordinate vehicle workflow through the service bays for smooth and timely operations.
• Point of Sale and Billing: Prepare job cards, quotations, and invoices accurately using the POS system. Handle payments, and maintain proper billing records.
• Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business. Notify customers of upcoming tire replacements, service intervals, and promotional offers.
• Quality Assurance: Inspect completed jobs for quality and safety before customer handover. Resolve any customer concerns promptly and professionally.
