Summary
Piping Draughtsman with 7+ years of experience within the petrochemical and power generation industries. I am in possession of a chemical engineering and draughting (piping / mechanical) qualifications. During the course of my expansive career, I have been exposed to different plants within sasol (steam plant / power plant, nitro fertilizers, polypropylene (PP1 & PP2), rectisol, water recovery, refining, coal separation, sulphur etc.). I am proficient in piping design / draughting softwares such as microstation, autocad / cadworx and bricscad. I am also proficient in the use of chemical process simulation software's such as AFT Fathom and ASPEN HYSYS, with exposure in FEED, plant construction and plant operations. I have knowledge of industry codes and standards (ASME B31.1, ASME 31.3, API, DVS 2210-1, EN 13480, DIN etc). I possess the capability to work independently as well as part of a team. Granted an opportunity where I can apply my technical skills, I believe I will add value to the organization.
