To provide overall Technical Assistance in monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of the implementation of the Provincial Implementation Plan for HIV, TB & STIs - 2023-2028:

Help develop, coordinate and Support implementation of the Provincial Implementation Plan for HIV, TB & STIs - 2023-2028:

  • Support the development and coordinate implementation of Provincial Implementation Plans and Multi-Sectoral District Implementation Plans (MDIPS)
  • Liaise with PCAs, Stakeholders and other Implementing Partners to ensure that HIV, TB and STIs related programmes and project activities are carried out and monitored at all levels according to agreed work plans.
  • On behalf of PCA, participate in relevant forums and provide support and coordination of HIV, TB and STIs related work in donor funded forums.
  • Strengthen and support strategic M&E alliances/partnerships with government departments, civil society and communities to support tracking and monitoring of PIPs and MDIPs.


Strengthen Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting for the Provincial Implementation Plan for HIV, TB &
STIs - 2023-2023:

  • Strengthen and operationalise a comprehensive Provincial M&E system for HIV, TB and STIs response in line with the PIPs.
  • Support the development of target setting and M&E plans for the Provincial HIV, TB and STIs response;
  • Liaise and work closely with Provincial & District level partners including Global Fund, GIZ, bilateral agencies; PEPFAR, International NGOs and Implementing Partners, to harmonize and advance an evidence-informed approach to the Provincial AIDS response;
  • Drive rollout and promote use of the Situation Room at Provincial and District level
  • Support continuous improvements and modifications of the Situation Room


Monitoring progress of Provincial Implementation Plan for HIV, TB & STIs - 2017-2022 to fulfill provincial reporting requirements:

  • Support the reporting of all programmatic data and contribute to data analyses and interpretation both provincially and to the National level.
  • Lead the reporting on Key Populations programs at Provincial level and contribute to data, analyses and interpretation to inform programme planning.
  • Coordinate the capacity building of District counterparts in data collection, data analysis, reporting and using evidence for programming;
  • Review Implementing Partners and PCA Sectors reports (site visits, monthly/quarterly narrative, data, mentoring and supervision, etc.) and follow up of challenges.
  • Coordinate the development of District AIDs Council quarterly and annual activity reports as aligned with Annual Performance Plans
  • Prepare reports and/or presentations on programmatic goals and achievements for various audiences as needed.
  • Support the conducting of PIP Mid & End Term Reviews

Information Systems, IT, EVDS, and Data Flow District Support Facilitator

  • Supporting the West Rand Department of Health with the implementation of the Covid-19 vaccination programme and also responsible for the management of the Electronic Vaccination Data System (EVDS) within the district.
  • Works closely with the Monitoring and Evaluation District Support Facilitator to ensure effective use and constant flow of data and information in all directions between local, provincial and national vaccine rollout teams and within the teams
  • Ensures that all the different information systems that are used for enrolment, vaccine logistics (SVS), vaccine allocation, distribution, administration, tracking, vaccinator registrations, site registration, and monitoring and evaluation dashboards are optimally functional
  • Maps the complex information systems and how they are interlinked to assist the team in understanding data and information flows so that different team support facilitators are able to coordinate their activities
  • Ensures effective use and flow of data by understanding the interface between information systems that are used for logistics, vaccine and ancillary item allocation, distribution, administration, tracking, vaccinator registrations, site registration, and monitoring and evaluation dashboards such EVDS.
  • Trains and onboards providers of the EVDS and informing and training providers and other users on new or additional features
  • Works closely with the communication team to ensure that all end users have access to simple and easy to follow instructions on how to use the EVDS and are made aware of new or additional features timeously
  • Troubleshoots and responds to all EVDS glitches and inquiries from end-users.
  • Analyses and categorises key problems identified in the district and escalating them to the province if necessary
  • Enhances, augments, and adapts existing IT and IS infrastructure to support and facilitate vaccination roll-out

Data Manager - Vaccination Stream

  • Data Quality Improvement/ Data Cleaning - Provide support to the CSIR team to drive data cleaning and data improvement on the National Department of Health Master Facility List (MFL)
  • Direct support to NDOH - Provide support to system admin function at the NDOH team on queries received from provinces related to user requests/ edits and additions on MFL

Programme Coordinator –Treatment, Care and Support

  • Responsible for managing and coordinating Right to Care's support to its sub-recipient partners supported through the Global Fund programme in order for them to meet the expected outcomes.
  • Coordinate, facilitate and direct needs of sub recipients through liaising with Finance, Grants & Compliance, M&E, Linkage, Capacity Building teams for relevant support and technical assistance
  • Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships engagement including attending Provincial, District and sub district meetings with Department of Health (DOH) and submitting required reports to DOH, USAID/PEPFAR and The Global Fund

  • Review and analyze data flow through weekly dashboards
