  Responsibilities:
  • DBA lead which includes focusing and diversify DBA’s on relevant projects and making all DBA’s working as part of a team.
  • Perform database support and tuning databases and servers to run at peak performance, insuring security and accessibility.
  • Provide support on multiple databases oracle RAC 10g/11g/12c database with ASM on UNIX/LINUX and Windows
  • Provide support and troubleshooting on Windows, OEL, Redhat, AIX, HP-AUX and Solaris platforms.

  • Created 2 node oracle RAC clusters on AIX with ASM , replicated to an 2 node RAC cluster with data guard (MTN)
  • Installed and configured Oracle Virtual Manager. OVM server on Sun Server x4-2 server and OVM manager on an OEL VM on hyper-V. Configured 5 databases all on OEL managed by OVM manager. (UBANK).
  • Training new recruits in SQL, and oracle database for their OCA certification. (EOH).
  • Setup unidirectional goldengate replication for 12 oracle two node oracle RAC databases on AIX replication to a oracle EXADATA target server. (Standard Bank)
