Summary 
Electrical Apprenticesassist electricians in the installation, alteration, addition and/or repairs of electrical systems, conductors and associated materials 
 
Responsibilities
<ul>
<li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in accordance with National Electric Code</li>
<li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Run tests on electrical components to ensure a safe and effective installation</li>
<li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Inspect electrical systems and equipment for any damage, malfunctions, and safety hazards</li>
<li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Installing and securing raceways, cables, and other conductors</li>
<li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Mounting and terminating electrical distribution and utilization equipment</li>
<li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Identifying and separating wires by color</li>
<li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Must be able to troubleshoot.</li>
<li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Is responsible for making final electrical connections</li>
<li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Ability to read and understand electrical one-line diagrams.</li>
<li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Works under direct supervision of Master electrician</li>
<li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Assists in site clean up</li>
</ul>
Qualifications

<ul>
<li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">2-3 years as an electrical apprentice working under a licensed journeyman</li>
<li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Valid Electrical Trainee card</li>
<li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Valid drivers license with clean motor vehicle report</li>
<li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Travel as needed</li>
