• Coordinate and attend investigation as and when required by the investigator.
• Attend hearings and advise parties on the internal process to be followed at hearings
• Monitor the outcomes of hearings to ensure consistent and standardised applications of sanctions
• Conduct ER awareness, to implement corrective actions on discipline.
• Review and update the Policy on Discipline Management and Grievance Procedure and submit to the ER Manager for approval to the HR Committee
• Provide interpretation of the Policy to staff members.
• Monitor compliance with the Policy across the organisation.
• Attend and/or participate in regular team (OHS/EE/EW/ Risk/ Compliance meetings.
• Ensure all IR actions and matters comply with legal requirements
• Ensure that communication related to the department is accurate.
• Update the Barnowl system as an when a reminder is received.
• Input to the ER Budget
• Collaborate closely with the ER Team to align employee relations and engagement strategies with broader ER&E objective
• Represent HR ion OHS meetings
