HR /Administration Function:
Ensure compliance to procedures and process within directorate and citywide
Support personnel and ensure outcomes consistent with objectives Manage and oversee performance of subordinates via daily tasks and IPM process and skills development
Ensure compliance to IDP and SDBIP in relation to waste management in servicing residents and businesses Manage, oversee, and initiate service delivery related projects related to illegal dumping, environmental management and preservation
Supply chain management processes: Maintenance projects (preventative & Adhoc repairs) - Capital and operational projects Draw up specifications RFQ &QIF, score bids, Deviations and Condonations and represent at BEC, BAC & MPAC Initiate specialized projects
Asset management: oversight of movable and immovable assets, perform periodic asset audits and inventory oversight
Project & Contracts Management as per SCM policies and contract management principles of the city Transversal applications, Contractor oversight and quality control on completed projects CRM reporting
Financial Management – Internal cost center oversight, invoice processing, reports on expenditure, budgeting, control and oversight Manage and oversee Capital budget and projects
Stake holder Management – Client relationship management for internal/external role player Service delivery initiatives as per waste management policies Attend to customer complaints such as C3 notifications and feedback to councilors and ratepayers associations on waste related issues
