VUSUMUZI EPHRAIM MADONSELA

My responsibility is to enforce diversity and inclusivity, as of I deal with students who come from different backgrounds. I lead and teach music. The achievements that we have made as a choir is growth and performing in the event hosted by the prestigious wits choir every year at the Great Hall. We also get booked for schools' events, memorial services, funerals, concerts and gala dinners.

We donate food parcels to needy families during festive season.

My responsibilities as a founder I go out in the street and via social media to ask for monetary, non-perishables and food parcels from people who are more fortunate in order for us to give to the less fortunate.

Also I manage the team that I am working with to make sure the causality of the program every year.

As a liaison officer my responsibilities were to liaison the school council with external parties which were lecturers, students and external professionals. I sharpened my leadership skills as well as communication skills.

I was the link between learners and the teachers also to make sure conduct is upheld.

I learnt a few things about leadership as I led the whole school, which meant I was also responsible for class representatives. As a council we were responsible for taking into account of the student needs and in making sure that they are taken care of.
