-Validating medical aids

-Handing over transfers to their service providers

-Getting authorizations from the fund managers and independent medical aids for the transfers

- Calling back the referring hospitals to confirm clinical information and medication to be monitored on route nor given

-Calling receiving facilities / hospitals to confirm receiving

-Validating the patient on their medical aid, to see if active or not on the medical aid website

- Informing the branch managers of long distance transfers and level of care

-Authorizing transfers

-Answering all the incoming calls emergency and general enquiries

-Transferring all the emergency calls to dispatcher for an ambulance
